Club Day!
Club Day for Project Podcast was a resounding success. We sold out all of our ice cream cones and made $23.50 today, although we personally do not get any of the profits. Stay tuned for next week as our first Fight Club tournament gets going.

Skypecast Live @ 3PM!
Well we did 2PM right? But that doesn't mean there won't be any unforeseen setbacks, and due to our unfortunate timing, there were. But that doesn't mean we won't have the show! Our live podcast will be at 3PM. Our long time Skypecast host, JJ will join me in a discussion about SOPA/PIPA and what would happen to our world if there was to be a government censoring everything we see.

SOPA/PIPA Sunday Skypecast Live @ 2PM
Well you guessed it, this week we witnessed one of the greatest turn of events in Internet history. SOPA/PIPA get shelved by their bill authors and the Internet lives once again, but where does it leave for the future of our Internet users? We discuss today our personal opinions on these two bills, as well as predict what will happen in the future, if bills of similar stature, were to make there way secretly through Congress, and not alert the general public.
Tune in @ 2PM to listen in!

Writing an Editorial
As goes to show, there has not been much going on despite the influx of recent recordings from the club president Dan, but I will be embarking on my own quest to not only freshen up my penmanship and prose, but to put forth an example of what this club can do with all its potential.
I will be working on an editorial due out sometime in February highlighting the overall benefits of podcasting as well highlighting some aspects that may be concerning the future of Project Podcast altogether.

Alive/Dead Week Podcast! [Click Here!]
Now that we are up to date with releases now. This week would be Dead Week, which means that teachers around the school would focus on teaching and preparing their students for final for next week, which will be the last week before Winter Break (WHOO!). But the nice folks on the ASB Cabinet have decided to turn this all around and make this something positive, which is known as Alive Week. Meaning that everyday for the entire week, there is a study hall type of thing, complete with snacks going on in the Cafeteria for the entire week. Not only is this Alive Week though, but it is also Spirit Week, so students from each class wears apparel that matches the theme for each day of the week to measure our school spirit. Click the title above to listen to the podcast (The [Click Here!] thing).
This Week's Podcast contains:
Alive Week Themes
Results of last week's Soccer game
Track&Field News
The tragic accident on Monterey Road

Project Skypecast 12 - Bloody Scribble D [Uncensored]
A long awaited 12th episode of our infamous dead skypecast, yet it somehow makes its way through the seven levels of podcasting hell. Shan't this season finale of our Junior year skypecasting been released in 2010, I would reckon that the intellectual world would have been destroyed long since. Due note to our colloquial euphemistic listeners who know their way around the "streets", we recorded this on April 20th.
Suggested Talking Points, well not really talking points: Corrupted Osu! Commune again, Silent Guests, Where is New Zealand?, Minecraft-mon, early swearing conundrums, Super Meatcraft, J.J enters the fray, former student woes, [everything after 30min is exploitive].
Hosts: Bryan Nagar, Victor Nguyen
Guests: J.J. Wanda, Jordan Hughes (Silent)
Intro/Outro: None this ep. Its gonna be rough and raw, uncut, uncensored.

L.A. Noire Review
It's Rockstar's new change in gameplay. Instead of being the bad guy as in past Rockstar Games, you play as a part on the law, with the new fancy facial- recognition system. The game's mechanics are extremely revolutionary with new gameplay innovations. You play as Cole Phelps, a decorated war hero who becomes a police officer in 1940's LA. Now L.A. Noire's Los Angeles is the Los Angeles and the closest of a 1940's setting you can go to. You go around LA solving cases and such. The individual cases themselves are particularly simple but gets challenging when you progress. There's nothing to do much in this game except investigate, and it does not get repetitive, just frustrating when you fail something. The game itself is about 40 hours long, and I have yet to gotten to the 2 hour mark. I'm not going to spoil much of the game's story, as it is a very good one, and possibly the year's most dynamic.
left: see the guy's wrinkles?
What's really about this game is the facial recognition system. You see every wrinkle, every crow's feet, and can see everyone's reaction face when you interrogate someone. It is truly one of the standing points of L.A. Noire.
Overall this game is truly an innovation and a different approach from Rockstar's usual games but, it is possibly the best game right now on the market. Also, the Xbox 360 version is 3 disc so you will be disc swapping. The PS3 version comes on a single Blu- Ray disc though.

CES Recap: What Was Notable, What Was Great, and What Was Wow
Last week was the CES 2011 Show in Vegas. Here are things most notable, and just plain great. Maybe...

1. Tablets
This year many Tablets and surprisingly, you don't think of ipad when looking at them. Motorola came out with the Xoom, which will use Android 3, so it's good.
2. Smartphones
Smartphones unveiled this year were well, smart. Most notable being the Sony Ericsson Xperia which is a slider, but it's like a HD camera and screen too.
Another one is the HTC Thunderbolt, which is great for people who want to see videos on the road, but it's somewhat big because of it's 4.3' inch screen.
3. Lady Gaga
Yep, somehow, she was there. Advertising for Polaroid, she shows the GL30 instant digital camera.
Great Gadget Photos: CES 2011
That's all for this year at CES 2011. For even more info, check out NBC bay area's website here http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/tech/CES-2011.htmlWednesday, December 29, 2010
Making Project P Official
So I had an experiment over the past week or so, and I found this to be quite fun, and entertaining. Playing games, and streaming online. So I'm announcing a Side Project dubbed "Project P". Not sure if I'm going to make this a regular thing, but it's pretty interactive and I find it entertaining, so I'll do it anyways. Now the quality isn't so great, but it's a start; I'm willing to improve the quality.
| If I'm comfortable with it, might as well stream it, Welcome to Project P |

Going insane, thinking of making a Project podcast webcomic

anyone? what its a great idea just look at Tycho and Gabe and various others (vgcats, roosterteeth, virtual shackles, etc.) they have been living some pretty successful lives too, plus i got some great ideas for t-shirts now i know we are a non profit organization (we're just a school club technically) and our prez may not exactly be on par with me but hey lets add a little flair to it and be comically successful on the net, just a thought heheheh.....
yeah i can draw but drawing facial expression, animations aren't exactly my forte so feel free to pop out any ideas you might have and go for it, who knows we might just be the next best thing.
