Writing an Editorial

As goes to show, there has not been much going on despite the influx of recent recordings from the club president Dan, but I will be embarking on my own quest to not only freshen up my penmanship and prose, but to put forth an example of what this club can do with all its potential.

I will be working on an editorial due out sometime in February highlighting the overall benefits of podcasting as well highlighting some aspects that may be concerning the future of Project Podcast altogether. 

Alive/Dead Week Podcast! [Click Here!]

     Now that we are up to date with releases now. This week would be Dead Week, which means that teachers around the school would focus on teaching and preparing their students for final for next week, which will be the last week before Winter Break (WHOO!). But the nice folks on the ASB Cabinet have decided to turn this all around and make this something positive, which is known as Alive Week. Meaning that everyday for the entire week, there is a study hall type of thing, complete with snacks going on in the Cafeteria for the entire week. Not only is this Alive Week though, but it is also Spirit Week, so students from each class wears apparel that matches the theme for each day of the week to measure our school spirit.      This is kind of like a posting marathon. Sorry for much of the delays, but for anybody reading this post I would like to thank everybody who has stayed with us through the delays...      What's going on? This is Project Podcast Pres. Dan with a semi-recent recording we did about 3 weeks ago, I'm stepping up game and doing a reboot, after that long hiatus where I went on a journey far off into the east to explore the depths of the earth and to discover myself. Project Skypecast 12 - Bloody Scribble D [Uncensored]

A long awaited 12th episode of our infamous dead skypecast, yet it somehow makes its way through the seven levels of podcasting hell. Shan't this season finale of our Junior year skypecasting been released in 2010, I would reckon that the intellectual world would have been destroyed long since. Due note to our colloquial euphemistic listeners who know their way around the "streets", we recorded this on April 20th.

L.A. Noire Review

It's Rockstar's new change in gameplay. Instead of being the bad guy as in past Rockstar Games, you play as a part on the law, with the new fancy facial- recognition system. The game's mechanics are extremely revolutionary with new gameplay innovations. You play as Cole Phelps, a decorated war hero who becomes a police officer in 1940's LA. Now L.A. Noire's Los Angeles is the Los Angeles and the closest of a 1940's setting you can go to. You go around LA solving cases and such. The individual cases themselves are particularly simple but gets challenging when you progress. There's nothing to do much in this game except investigate, and it does not get repetitive, just frustrating when you fail something. The game itself is about 40 hours long, and I have yet to gotten to the 2 hour mark. I'm not going to spoil much of the game's story, as it is a very good one, and possibly the year's most dynamic.

What's really about this game is the facial recognition system. You see every wrinkle, every crow's feet, and can see everyone's reaction face when you interrogate someone. It is truly one of the standing points of L.A. Noire.

Overall this game is truly an innovation and a different approach from Rockstar's usual games but, it is possibly the best game right now on the market. Also, the Xbox 360 version is 3 disc so you will be disc swapping. The PS3 version comes on a single Blu- Ray disc though.
